Rentalcars.com- no refund after car was refused

This is a scam that relies on charging your debit card at the time of reservation and later have the car refused. Numerous clauses are designed for that purpose. When that happens you lose your entire payment. In my case I offered the same card for the deposit, it had sufficient funds and the rental company could have locked the required sum, but they refused to accept it. I have previously used the card for rentals with no trouble. There was nobody from rentalcars.com available to talk to at the time I was at the car company desk, around 11pm, I got a message to call the next day. The sum for the entire rental period was charged at the time of reservation, and no refund has been given.

Warranty is only applicable to integral parts of engine which rarely undergo breakdown. 8. Warranty is ceased on accidental parts 9. Warranty is ceased if any one service is missed or not done thru authorized dealer Total warranty cost applicable to customer is: Item imposed on customer cost of item Total Amount Initial Warranty at the time of purchase applicable after 2 years of free service Rs 610 /- Rs610/- 13 paid Services mandatory for applicability of Extended warranty of 3 years after 2 years iof purchase (without any breakdown of vehicle during extended warranty) Rs660 x 13 paid services without any vehicle part replacement except integral parts of engine which rarely undergoes breakdown Minimum Bill of Rs 660 comprises of Rs250 for oil +Rs150 NANO OIL Booster change and Rs 260 labour charges. Rs 8580 /- Depreciation value of vehicle after 5 years of extended warranty for Activa- i Rs 51000 – 50% of Depreciation (Rs51000 – Rs25500 = Rs25000/-) Customer is spending minimum of Rs 9190 /- as paid service charges without any part replacement on a vehicle with depreciated value of Rs25500/- which is unjustified.

Transtutors.com- Re: altering price every 5 minutes

I was purposed one price at first then they changed it after 5 minutes and again they changed after 5 minutes, it was very dissapointing, ..I was just about to pay when they did it...why don't transtutors stick with the agreement they made, why transtutors keep changing the agreed price

FD no: B1 96299 ------------------------- Sir, I had taken an FD of your company in the name of my daughter Kishori Sud, for Rs 50, 000/ maturing on 31.1.15.Form 15 G was submitted along with the form. Not only you have NOT returned the principal and the interest which was due in January '15', you have deducted the tax also!!! What was the point of giving 15 G ? If YOU are going to delay the payment, and till when one does not know, don't you think You should inform and ask for new 15 G form. I had ordered 20 pieces combo set of home decor and on receiving it I found that those products are of lowest quality as compared to the amount charged for it.I tried to contact customer care no. but did not respond. I request that my product be taken back and my money be refunded.I am unsatisfied and found cheated by the firm.

They denied my claim because I didn't report the problem within 5 days of first noticing it. They also kept restating the nature of my complaint to make it sound like I was reporting an uncovered problem. I repeatedly corrected them, to no avail. I purchased the warranty through La-Z-Boy, which I thought was a reputable retailer. I am now taking my complaint directly to the CEO of La-Z-Boy. The only way to stop unethical companies like Ultrashield is to get retailers to stop selling their useless warranties. I would love to see numbers showing what percentage of claims they actually cover as I suspect there is the basis for a class action lawsuit
